Hi Everyone

We appeal to your kind and noble heart to help us catch strays, neuter them and rehome them. Your contribution in cash or in kind or as a volunteer to look after the animals will be very much appreciated. You are welcome to pay us a visit and talk to us.

Apart from rescue work, we are also helping to ‘educate’ people about neutering animals and why it is crucial, in view of the stray problems in our country. We have purchased some brochures and flyers from the USA on animal welfare to distribute to people so that they are better informed. This costs money and we would appreciate any contribution towards this cause.
Adoption
This is ‘Taikor Junior’ adopted by Philip and Lih Ching from Labuan, Sabah. He is semi-long haired and just strolled past our shop. Amy, quick as lightning, scooped him up and poor fella, he lost his freedom. Philip and Lih Ching is a very lovely couple studying in UTAR, Bandar Sg Long. What convinced us to let them have ‘Taikor Junior’ is the way they care for their dogs back in Labuan. They are willing to spend on good food for them and also for the health and well-being of their animals, although they are only students. Now, his name is BB and he has put on quite a few pounds!
This is ‘K’ (stands for ‘Kajang’). That was where we picked him up at around midnight 30 April 2007, eve of Labour Day – truly a labour of love. He was trying to cross the road at a traffic light. We had to make a U-turn, stopped at the side of the road, amidst the stares of people stopping at the traffic light, squatted by the roadside, lured him and caught him. A family from Klang (through Wendy Foong) adopted him and Wendy is monitoring him for us. Wendy is a wonderful person to animals. She gives her dog and even other people’s animals nothing but the best – food, supplements, care, etc…… That is why on her word alone, we let K go.

This is Liew C-Kay (nickname: Kay-Kay). She was found at a mamak stall near the Bandar Sg Long school. Kay-Kay was adopted by Kelvin Liew, a Utar student. Kelvin is a very hardworking student who sings part-time. He also does translation work for Tails Unlimited. From the name that he gave Kay-Kay, you can deduce how much he loves her.

He sings for a living
To satisfy her every craving
He is very loving
To his pup which is always barking.

This is Ms Ivy Chin. Her family adopted two of the six puppies that were abandoned outside our shop (Read the blog – A Tale of Six Puppies). They seemed very nice people who love dogs. We believe that the puppies are in good hands.

This is Shirleyja and Shashi. They adopted the three puppies (read my blog A Tale of Three Puppies) abandoned near 7 Eleven. Shirleyja loves animals very much. She has given two of the puppies away and we are waiting for news of them. Shirleyja has also adopted another puppy which she has named Shimi. Shimi and one of the puppies named Sanjay have since followed her to Penang.
